KEEP IN TOUCH--- SOON COMING UP, THERE ARE SCHEDULED READINGS IN SAN FRANCISCO LOCAL VENUES AND BOOK STORES.
The works in: mprints: the voices of intergenerational writers, originated in The Intergenerational Writers Workshop in San Francisco, facilitated by George Birimisa, a pioneer who began his long history in the Creative Ats at the Cafe Chino in the Village of Manhattan where Bette Midler and Edward Albee also began launching their talents. George was a play write, established author, actor, director and a Gay pioneer.
In his eighties he mentored several individuals in the craft of writing. The writers published in Imprints worked closely together often sitting around a rectangular table as George listened attentively and encouraged his participants to "...go deeper...get honest...polish it..." Each writer brought new works to the forefront-----young writers---middle aged and elder adults together---made up the constellation---that was the beauty of it!
The authors in Imprints are diverse, have unique attributes and styles---some have published works in journals, magazines, online sites and published books of their own. They know life from many vantage points and have the ability to demonstrate their depth and imagination in a variety of creative genres.
In the era of instant demand--tweets, multi- messaging, and flashes of media, bombarding like surround sound, you can ease into IMPRINTS and find yourself in the pages of this book.
